king and queen vs king and two pieces

those "two pieces" are a knight and bishop

I'll suggest 3 knights vs 1 knight. Even though this is theoretically winning, giving the 1-knight side any chance to trade, you'll be doomed

Hey everyone, I was just wondering what do you think is the hardest endgame position or type of endgame to win? I personally feel that in general rook endgames are very complex and hard to play because every tempo counts, especially when both sides have a passed pawn. Let me know what your least favorite endgame is to play!

Queen vs. rook.

Magnus carlsen could easily do this

Elementary. Look up Lucena position. The winning method was first shown by Alessandro Salvio in 1634. It’s in every endgame book.
