If you dont want someone commenting on something you started, block them.

Well, some people would abuse that power to delete valid points. I am not sure whether or not I agree with you because of that.

A thread once created belongs to the forum.   The creator can moderate through blocking which I don't like but can be necessary.  I really don't like the idea of content being deleted .  Perhaps some posts can be collapsed (-) at the discretion of the op which can be made readable only by a reader clicking on it (+).  Any quotation of collapsible content become collapsible.

I think you should lighten up and get less triggered (which I'd strongly suggest, and who knows, you may actually enjoy the jabs he takes at you)  or just block him. 

I mean, he made hundreds of people believe I didn’t know how much a bishop is worth (even 600 rated people). 

You do seem to be a bit too angry recently, and though you may just be venting, autobunny*s advice is valid.

It does all of us good to get off our high horses every once in a while.

I think he is trying to get under your skin. A troll you know... and it is strategic. if he can get you riled enough it will adversely effect your game.  I ignore idiots like that . In a power struggle if the other person gets no response....you win.
