The new game review doesn't always tell me my success (or more often, failure) rate for the various openings like it used to.

Doesn't it care about me any more?

As Regurgitator once said, I like your old stuff better than your new stuff.

That should still show on the last book move but you may need to scroll the coach speech

Is there an alternative to chess.com that has some sort of game review like there used to be on here? This one has been dumbed down to the point of being near useless, but I did find the previous version to be both useful and entertaining.

Hello, the new update is absolutely awful. Please put the review back to the previous version. I cannot use this review and I will be canceling my subscription if it remains this way.

KingOfBrilliancy

The old one was legendary. Just put everything in the old one.

There are no plans to revert the reviews to old code/design.

I agree, the UI now is impractical. In my opinion the notations were more clear before and now everything is packed at the bottom, which makes the next and previous movement arrows annoyingly uncomfortable to navigate with. As a developer I understand the strive to improve but this wasn’t the right choice.

The move list allows you to navigate by swiping; the arrows don't have to be used.

I know, you can navigate by scrolling or with the arrows. I just don't like it, a new feature should enhance the already existing ones. I think it ain't a good add on if it force me to use it that way and punish me if I want to use it as it was.

Game review update on iOS iphone is REALLY bad. Just learning PC is also bad. We want to be able to do a few things, all of which we could do on the old review systems and none of which are easily accessible (if at all) on the new system. Sadly, I will have to leave Chess.com due to this. The arrogance of insisting it's good and will never be changed back is incredibly offensive.

Not only is it offensive but when I sign up for the review feature and it gets updated on me, then I should also have the old version of reviews ALWAYS with me, since that is what I paid for. Updating it is chess.com breaking their own terms of service with me.

Am I the only one that's getting pop-ups at the end of games telling me to game review? If not, then this is really lame. I'm paying $120 a year for this diamond membership, don't give me annoying pop-ups that tell me how to use it.

Someone needs to explain the concept of a sunk cost to whoever is making the decision to retain this horrendous review system. I cancelled my diamond after almost 2 years due to it… then took their cheap offer for a much lower tier in case they come to their senses (ie fire people). It’s like they’re actively trying to push away users. Worse, we want to improve but no longer are given appropriate tools to do so. This sort of behavior is how successful companies fail.

The review and effect antics make this pass time seem more frivolous, or the new form is a way of making puzzles less accessible for second tier memberships.
