The Damiano Gambit is the refutation of the Damiano defense. White plays the damiano gambit. Accepting the Damiano Gambit is what is especially bad for black.
Remember, the knight sacrifice is the damiano gambit.

can't say i agree with that. A lot of gambits EXPLOIT opponents doing what LOOKS correct, and even 2400s fall for Qxh8 bait in the rousseau when blacks queen is on d4
Isn't there a mate in 8 if your opponent plays a certain line? What is the line, again?
