Anyone time box your correspondence games to avoid checking your games all the time? Any tips?

I like to know what moves were played, but it brings happy anticipation, not distraction. One way, if you are not happy but nervous with anticipation, reduce to three games in parallel and build up slowly to the lot you can handle and enjoy. Also, I used to feel driven to play more or less obvious moves at once. Now, sometimes I do, but sometimes I prefer to consider the easy, or presumably easy move as one in the pocket and as a free ride on another board with a more difficult position, when the time of day to play with dedication comes. Also, it allows a second glance at the easy position, like a correspondence blunder check option.
