Confirm Move Button?
Are you playing in the chess.com app or on their website? You can go into settings under daily and a confirm move option is in there. If you're meaning in live chess, you can disable premoves. There's also an option in the settings menu towards the bottom somewhere that lets you pick to either drag the piece to make your move or by tapping on a piece's square then tapping on the square you want to move it to. This is regarding using the website though and not the app. If I remember correctly there was a confirm move option in the app as well but it's more of a hinderence than anything when playing in timed games.
I have the same question, but my reason is because I have Parkinson's and I keep losing games because my finger twitches and clicks the mouse on a square I didn't intend to move my piece to.

If you're using a Windows computer or laptop, you should download an app/program that's called Dwell Clicker 2. I have a friend with a similar issue and searched all over for things he could use. the Dwell Clicker 2 was/is his favorite because it basically takes out the clicking aspect of the mouse and instead has a little timed circle thing that acts as your click. They offer a free 30 day trial so you can see if you like it and even after the trial, you can still use it but with less options available.
I could be wrong on this but I believe the site to download it is called Smartboxshop.com. Just google it and you'll see it. They also have ios options and something called 'Eye Gaze" where you control your mouse by eye movement, which is cool unless you're watching porn with a significant other, haha!
That's what I thought too. I know I had it on at one point, but I'll be darned if I can find the setting for it anywhere! Am I just overlooking it?!?!
If you're on the app, it's in settings and in both daily and live. If you're on chess.com, it has the option for daily but not seeing it for live. Daily is the little calendar and below it is the stopwatch which is live.

Better ditch the chess.com and use lichess cause they have this function implemented. It doesn't seem like chess.com even cares.
+1. Should be trivial to add this feature. It could keep people playing here instead of going to lichess because they do have this feature.
+1 add the confirm move feature. lets go Chess.com developer, this is not a difficult altghorim logic.

the submit option does not seem to apply to moves, This is a valid request as the mpuse pad on laptos seems to be very sensitive and cause errors, we need this feature implemented for every action
