Clock Cheating?
If you're on the iOS app, you should update. A bug was found in a couple of recent versions that could cause issues in some games. Version 4.7.17 or higher includes a bug fix.
Has anyone ever experienced this? I was in a match and it was my opponents turn to move, only when they moved, my time was the one that got deducted and my opponents increased???
During the entire time, my connection was full bars.
This started happening during the end of the game, where I had my opponent in a bad spot. Before this, there were no issues at all. On 3 of their last moves, they were on 0.00.1 time, and every time It wouldn't time them out and they would magically get extra time. This 'reset' thing happened like 3 times until I didn't have any more time left.
At the end, I managed to take screenshots of this happening
It's almost like he was able to use my time for his turn too somehow. Thats how it felt since everytime Id lose time and hed gain some.
That indicates high lag and potentially small disconnects from the server. The client clocks are not official and will be updated with the official server times once the opponent's move is received.
