Chess Bullies

I'm just wondering is there such a thing as would you consider chess bullies.  I've had the bullet rating of well over 1000.  But there are some days that no matter what I do is that nothing works, the opposition is too good period.  Ive run into several cases where some the guys admit they are actually 2200-2700.  One guy say they were playing with there buddies.  I dont know, its pretty discouraging to try to get ahead, only to get knocked down into low as 800.  Should a person just quit the game because its no way to get ahead when a group get together and takes over the playing.  Just lost the fun of it, when your not playing the same level as you are.  Not sure what to make of it and process, what the heck is going on?

Sometimes that happens to me in rapid, even if you lose, you still learn, your rating that you can see may not go up, but your actual level of skill will

Just keep on playing. Try and try until you succeed and bit the ratings higher than yours. That's Chess sometimes you lose sometimes you win. But the more you play the more you got the experience.

See,We all have our days and on those days we will basically beat everyone that we get paired against. Its all about momentum. The thing that you're referring to is called sandbagging if you didnt know. Its basically when a higher rated player plays on a lower rated account and miserably beats the lower rated player. It is unfair.Hate to say,but its extremely common at your level.Cant really do much about it.You might be on a hot streak and then you face a nasty sandbagger and your rating is doomed to go back down by 200 points since you lost the momentum and now you're tilting.I would say just try to not get discouraged from it and take a break.Thank you
