Checkmating with just a king and queen
Puedes ver lecciones que proporciona chess.com. De todas formas, es fácil de aprender, supongo que podría intentar ayudarte cuando tenga tiempo.
Hi, I have problems with learning how to checkmate with only a queen and a king left. Typically, my opponents are bad sports and don't resign when they just have a king left, hoping to get a draw. It frustrates me to great degrees, especially if a draw does happen even though I'm up +12. If any one could help me with finding the best way to checkmate with a queen and king, I'd appreciate it greatly. Thanks
Gothamchess has some old videos on checkmate patterns you should watch those
do you know how to mate with a king and rook? try the same!

You can just google it and there are a number of videos online on how to do it.

I do, but it's actually harder for me with queen. I feel like getting a draw is a lot easier with a queen than with a rook.
I can help! I have a great way of doing it. I’ll set up a bird and show you brb.
Thank you!

For me, I always had a hard time with the rook.

Looking at your last game I think you’re not watching out for stalemates - you had an extra bishop as well which you tried to get involved and that was the cause of the problem

True but just watch some tutorials how to do it practice a few times eventually it will be easy
One of the reasons beginners stailmate alot is because they don't know queen endgames or rook endgames and just shuffle pieces into a draw
Also, there is a practice for this here: https://www.chess.com/endgames/queen
Edit: the whole thing did not load *sigh*
