Sheesh man, what's your point? Yes of course guys are usually better than girls, but it doesnt really have to do with who is smarter or able to think in a certain way. It's about whether you have 1. Crazy Talent and/or 2. Years of hard work (Talent is usually able to offset some work, but any talented individual still has to work hard. (which I suggest you clock in before you go to a nursing home to troll some more over here).
The main reasons why girls don't play as well are:
1. Girls, in my experience, don't find the game very interesting.
2. Historically, chess was the king's sport. It was basically a symbol of male intellect. While people like Judit Polgar have made headway in breaking this stigma, it's still prevalent.
Also, to all of you feeling happy that u are a boy and are better at chess than a girl, it doesnt really matter. What matters is that at a competitive level, most of you are trashy at best.

I agree that most men who complain about the women at the very top are not themselves capable of competing with those women who study 6 hours per day, both talented and dedicated far beyond what those who criticize them would ever be capable of. Rather than being discouragements, let them encourage you into the best that you can deliver, in whatever field you endeavor to succeed in, because they have, but this also entails perseverance to maximize your potential, great indeed in all cases.

Incorrect.
You need actual data if you want people to believe you.
Even if it were true, it would still be on average. Many hotels could beat many boys, AND Vice verca

I don't care if people believe me, but I offer observations based on experience which people can take or leave.

To the person who made this thread, I'm double your rating happy.png

I don't think any gender is superior. The forum you made is inaccurate and one-sided. l do not agree with you and l think both genders are good in chess.

Bro what is wrong with you/ all the girls r perfect, and in my opinion better than boys. all the girls here have higher rating than u do, and any girl here would agree w me. and anyone who actually has the guts 2 stand up to the idiot is my bestie!

People have already researched this topic many times before using actual sciency stuff. Some example links:
A normal-english analysis from 2023

A more hardcore-sciency paper from 2008

Both conclude that if you look at the numbers, the gender gap in chess skills can almost entirely be explained by participation rates. The 2023 paper even calculates that in 92% of the countries in the world, the gender gap can be explained in its entirity by the fact that more males play chess than female.
TLDR: If group A has 100 chess players, and group B has 1000 chess players, odds are that the top 3 chess players will all be in group B. That's the reason for the gender gap in chess, according to the data.
