if that's the case how come I'm 424 elo but I beat a 2200 master from the bots?

Online I’d say 1400 is considered good

you are always a bad players, all players are inherently bad, cause nobody plays their own chess, all look at the computer lines or some gotham video, which is just computer lines with some screaming, and you try to emulate that, chess is dead, computers won and there is no human part of it left, except for blunders

People are getting confused with Worst, bad, good, and perfect.

2700+ are usually pretty good

A very subjective question.

Probably better to look at the percentile, surely if you're in the top third then it would be fair to say you are "no longer a bad player"

No doubt many would disagree.

But here's the problem with that answer. There are tons of players that make an account and forget about it the next day so percentage is relative. Now if we talk about fide top 3 percent then we have a good basis

The issue is chess.com is curved towards beginners more than lichess and otb obviously is skewed towards higher ranked players

If 90% of all players on chess.com are bad players, which seems to be a reasonable guess, then the top third is 70% bad players, if my maths is correct.

To be fair, I feel that we all suck (me in particular tho)
Snowchlobe

it depends who you compare yourself to!

even magnus carlsen is a bad player if you compare him to an engine.

Where did My posy go

Only thing that matters is that you don’t have blunders, mistakes, and misses in most games then you’re pretty good.
