Are there any benefits of being in legend league?

What about free 1 year diamond membership for players who reached legend league, is it over already or still valid?
Also once we reach legend league , what's next? Do we need to continue playing constantly or.... ? I mean what's the benefits ? I'm just trying to understand current situation, because I don't see any information anywhere what is happening etc..
What about prizes people who won already, what are they and who are they? Can we see some information on it somewhere?
I am stuck in the elite league. Top-3 always gains a heck lot of points. I think people in elite leagues deserve 1-week diamond membership 
last i looked, league of legends was free.

That was never a thing. The first 200 played that made it to Champion received a diamond membership.
Once a member reaches Legend, they get placed in the Legend club and there will eventually be events and prizes there, but last I knew nothing has been scheduled or announced yet.

One year diamond and the contest ended over a month ago. All prizes were awarded and the link @justbefair was the results for the contest. There's nothing newer than that.

You probably don't know the benefits but actually the prizes we get are based on monthly arena events in which the person got highest rank gets $ 200 ; 2nd and 3rd ranked people get 100 and 50 dollars respectively. The tournament starts from last Friday of every month . So you may get prize every month

I am on track for the Legend division. I am bored with my competition and would like to compete for actual tangible prizes. I won over 500 bullet games this week and no one is even close to my trophies this week. Put me in coach!
Theres a tournament at the end of the month in which cheaters rob chess of a bunch of money lol
