Any good starter tournaments for ~600-700 elo

Hello!

I've just gotten into chess, and I'm wondering if there are any tournaments (specifically in Canada-USA) that would be good for a 600-700 elo player to go and have fun? Or are they only for higher elos?

Its your friend and I just googled the question.

It turns out there is a Canadian Chess Tournament but I don't know if it is for players your skill level.

I did find that there is a Missisauga Chess Club for players from beginner to master if you are interested in joining

You should be able to find tournaments with a u1000 section

FR. most tournaments have different divisions and it's a lot of fun.
