As the overall winner of the Under 2000 section of the NC Open, here are the games. Only time I was at a risk of losing was Black missed 43...Rf8+ in round 4, hence the theme. Clearly my best games were rounds 1 and 5.
Round 1 - Theme: Domination
After 1 bad move by White (21.Ne2 was better), Black dominates the e-file, stops all entries on the b-file by White, and squeezes White to death. Even if he does not walk into the fork, he is about to lose the d-pawn.
Round 2 - Black walks into mate, but even after a correct move like Re7 or Rf7, White wins
Round 3 - One bad move (33.d5?) does her in
Round 4 - Theme: Imperfection
Round 5 - Theme: Know your openings - 10.h4 is a really bad move by White here. White ultimately lost on time.
