Most Perfect 7 Move Checkmate Ever
@assault you ever heard of Fried Liver Attack? I was initially going for Fried Liver Attack (or a position similar to), but after 2. b5?, I had to do c4 to be able to put my bishop on the c4 square. And while black made blunders galore, my only weak move was 5. Bc4??, as pointed out by supreme_commander (at this point, I was so focused on capturing the h rook that i didn't even notice the available capture.
A perfect checkmate is a mate where every piece of a mating army is involved, and every square of a mated king surroundings is covered exactly once. So, position W: Kb6, Qe8 B: Kb8, is a perfect mate, but position W: Kb6, Qd8 B: Kb8 - is not, because c7 is attacked by both king and queen.
This is about the most perfect example of the 7 move checkmate I've ever seen, and I had the luck to be able to play it.
