I wanted to share a recent game I played, where I managed to pull off my first brilliant move as a beginner. My opponent jumped their knight to c2, threatening my rook, but instead of reacting to that, I captured a pawn on a7, aiming for promotion. It seems my opponent was too eager to go after my rook and didn't see the real threat. The position felt awkward throughout the game, but that move gave me the edge!
