My blitz v.s. IM John Bartholomew

As title indicates, this is a 2+0 OTB blitz game I had the opportunity to play against Bartholomew in Charlotte this summer. As short time control and mistake laden of a game this was, I think there's still some interesting things to gleam here and would love some better insight.

For context I'm ~1300 provisional USCF blitz (5/25) and about 1400 classical USCF, 1800 rapid online. Playing Black here.

Moral of the story is to respect your opponents off the board, but never on the board. I had two nice chances to apply pressure, infiltrate his side of the board, and maintain equality but I chickened out because he's a thousand points over me OTB blitz. Had a lot of fun though and learned quite a bit, funny guy too.
