I had an idea for a new piece: The Farmer.
The Farmer works just like a Pawn except it lacks the two square head start.

Hmm. Maybe you should move this to the variants forum.
Archer - Sacrifice 3 pawns to activate /summon this piece. This piece will be summoned in the clear square next to the king, walk in straight line like a pawn, but will take out what ever piece in front of it if the object stayed for 3 turns in front of the Archer... If the object was a King, the 2nd turn is consider as a check...

The sniper
It can use a ruler to draw a imaginary straight line from the center of itself to a piece it is trying to snipe. The first piece that the ruler hits will be sniped by the sniper (captured) It moves like a king it cannot snipe a king

The Alien
Its hidden among the pawns, there is one pawn that is a traitor of humanity and when you promote it into a queen… it joins the other side. If the Alien pawn is captured it will “Become” a new pawn and keep coming back until it reaches promotion, or it will just sit on its starting square for the whole game like the ones you left -_-

Speedster: moves like a rook, but has to keep going until stopped by a piece (or the edge) Then it can capture the piece (move 1 square more) or it can stay on the square. It can’t capture the piece if it is on the same color, or it is an edge. It checks weird. If there is a king it is trying to check, if there is a piece behind the king, it’s a check! Else, it’s not.

It could only move to front and move like the horse of the chinese chess (couldn't jump over piece)
