Basically it is so pretty that ALL of the opponent’s pieces, including the king, gets paralyzed. By it.
By the way, the Lady CANNOT be taken.
It starts on z4. Only White has a Lady. “Opponent’s pieces” mean the Black pieces.

Legendary Ranger – Can throw a knife 5 squares in all directions. The knife kills the enemy piece it lands on and the enemy pieces in its path. Can shoot a poison arrow 6 squares in all directions. The poison arrow kills the enemy piece on the square it lands on and the ones in its path. The poison arrow makes the square with the poison arrow and the adjacent ones poisonous. If an enemy piece is on poisonous square for two turns dies. Move like queen and knight.

Continues the game after your king has already been checkmated.
The bubble
Moves like a king, but can move to squares attacked by enemy pieces. If a bubble gets next to an enemy piece that piece may still move but only to squares that are also next to the bubble. The piece remains stuck to the bubble until the bubble either moves or is captured.

The Ode to Yiyichen:
Moves like any piece.
Captures all of the pieces 5 squares away from the Ode to Yiyichen.
However, cannot mate or assist in mate against a king.
Yackle – Can only get it if a nub gets to the other side of the board. Move like queen. If it moves then all enemy pieces it points to instantly dies and cannot be revived. Including the king.
Nub – moves like pawn but can’t take. If it gets to the end of the board it turns into a Yackle.

Moves like any piece.
Captures all of the pieces 5 squares away from the Ode to Yiyichen.

Lord of the Sword – Can swing a sword in the 7x7 square around it. It kills all enemy pieces in the vicinity. The squares that the enemy pieces died on are bloody. If an enemy piece is on bloody square for two turns they die. Move like queen.
