Chess as Inspiration for Art

It's too bad there are no pictures with the article. I plan on doing some chess themed paintings soon - I think chess translates excellently to art.

The artist was called upon to create pillars for the community and decided to use chess pieces as his creation. He sculpted three giant chess pieces to be added as the public art for the community.
