Why this play wasn´t checkmate?

Hello. I was playing this game and I thought I was being checkmated by my opponent cuz the king couldn´t move to a position in which he wasn´t out of threat. There must be something I´m not realizing because I had analyzed and even the game didn´t allow me to move king to nowhere, but the game let me to move the bishop to his natural pattern. Could someone explain to me? It was a bug or what? 

Your King can't move anywhere, but he is not in check - he is not being attacked (if there was another move he would not be captured). If you did not have your Bishop this would be Stalemate and a draw. Checkmate needs the King to be in check.

Oh got got it. And why it would be stalemate just for the bishop? Cuz I also have a pawn there.
