Because bots are friendly, and have inbuilt computer decided moves but a lower rated player can be confusing
Why can I win against 700-1000 rated bots but not against any real player rated over 300?
I remember playing a game against Martin. Because I was an idiot just getting into the game, it stayed pretty equal. Then he suddenly blundered his queen for no reason and I sat there for a full minute, trying to figure out if it was a joke.
im at avarage rating like 600 or smt and i can play and win 1800 elo bots lol, but with real players at 700+ rating i cant do sh#t
Bots on Chess.com are overrated by design, to make you feel better and play more, generating income for the company. Easy as that!
But can't win against 400 to 500 because humans think much harder than bots you see real magnus can of course win against bot magnus
If you're new to the game, play 30|0 games in the live server, so you have time to think. Don't play Bullet or Blitz right when you are learning the game, that won't make you think.
I like that. When you can get a higher rating, then maybe you can play a few OTB events. I don't know why, but when you play 30+0 online feels like a lot longer than 30+0 in OTB events.
No I think new players must play rapid 10 min bcz it don't give too much time and too less time to think it is well balanced and you can play 3 to 4 matches in an hour
Yeah when i started playing, i only played against bots and was able to defeat 1000 rated bots but then when i played with humans, i couldn't even defeat 200-400 rated people Even now im only 400 But playing with humans is more fun, each game and move is unpredictable
If you’re new, just keep playing humans and solve puzzles and watch soms lessons or instructional Speedruns on youtube (naroditsky or bartholomew).
Don’t listen to people who say: you’ll get to 1000 easily. Better to accept your rating whatever it is and enjoy playing chess.
I can win against 2000 rated players at my club occasionally, win against 2000 rated bots, cannot win against people rated 200 D:
