I started playing chess a year ago then this year I created an account even got premium membership but I really don't know my mistakes so what lessons or puzzles should I take

I see from your history that you play mostly blitz games. The best way to improve is by taking time to think about what you are doing. This doesn’t mean you need to take hours over every move, but find a time range where you are not hurrying at all. I think ten minutes is a good idea.

Thanks for the suggestion

The illusion everybody can improve by just playing a lot and doing fun stuff is there, overwhelming.

Only a feeble % of all players can really improve so, for being gifted, more or less, with photographic memory or other such mind features.

The rest of us need to study. And that's a tedious process. Then, you do it, or you don't do it, that's your choice.

But don't expect to do anything worth mentioning, if you stay on the path of the super gifted, when you're not that.

BS, why are you doing that? The guy needs help, not lies.

Listening to people like you, kids get crushed when their false hopes turn into nothing.

Try listening to that it's best to find a time control your best relaxed in or can notice bad moves (not all of them but at least some of them )

Chill you don't need to be this aggressive to a simple question this type of agressivness doesn't help others either

Yes you can't just improve by playing a lot and doing "fun stuff " you have to do something else to it takes more than just playing games though playing games and learning from them is one of the best ways to do that

Also study doesn't necessarily mean studying openings it could mean ,analyzing games ,learning new things like endgames ,etc

Also when you analyze your games try to find out what you did wrong first without looking at stockfish (you can look at it after I don't care lol ) but at least attempt to find out what our do wrong and try to think of a reason why and how to fix it

Why even try to improve? Just be satisfied with what nature endowed u with , if u r only 4 feet tall no amount of stretching will make u a handsome 7 or 8 feet man, so if your rating is 300 be happy and content with it

Nothing wrong with trying to improve there no reason you shouldn't but that doesn't mean you should be beating yourself in the head over it

Hey there!

I feel your pain! I used to struggle with the same issues until I found ChessMood. It’s super helpful for beginners and focuses on the basics like avoiding blunders and building a solid foundation, which I think are key to improving and helping to actually get better at the game. The videos and courses are easy to follow and have really helped me improve my game through helping me to see things I couldn't see before. It truly is an eye-opening experience!

Give it a try and see how it goes!

Good Luck!

I’ll take a look at that, appreciate it!

Honestly it depends feeling lost is probably where you should be at your level just focus on trying to figure out what mistakes you make (preferably by not listening to stockfish every move I) and trying to figure out how/why you are making them

Unbeatablechessgod1

I will give all your ideas a try and see how best I will improve before the 20th
