Caro-Kann is goated but queen's gambit is just a way to make a chess game boring.

Sort:
irish gambit (e4, e5, Nf3, Nc6, Nxe5)
To me, the Latvian Gambit (e4 e5, Nf3 f5(!) is the craziest move for black to pull. I've tried it many times and always lost as black.

There’s no definitive worst opening. But Fools Mate, Bongcloud, Grob, Orangautan, are considered the worst

The worst openings in my opinion are the Gunderam Defense, Durkin Opening, Carr's Defence, Barnes Opening & Grob's Attack. ♟️

It really depends on you and the other person, not much the actual opening unless either of you does something so terrible a 100 could exploit it

the fried fox defense: 1. e4 f6 2. d4 Kf7 followed by some other nonsense black does. I find it fun for trolling my friends but its a terrible opening. Fools mate is worse but if you are looking for an eval that isn't a BMW prob the fried fox
@122anson123 the wrongcloud is a brilliant move. The grob, barnes, bongcloud and duras gambit are all brilliant moves. The only opening that is a blunder is the London System. It is the worst and most despicable opening in the entirety of chess!
