The lower the rating the stronger the player?

When I am +800 and higher...things seem to be pretty even in play, skill and wins and losses.

When i drop below ~750 ... +75% of players in the 600's always seem to be playing at a higher level and much more difficult to beat.

Well, there are millions of players and since initial ratings are based on self-assessments, many are just starting and haven't found their proper rating.

Also, you resigned in your last game after you blundered your queen.

I imderstand that you were upset but you still had the advantage.

You also resigned the previous game in an unclear position.

You were also winning the game before that when you overlooked a mate in 1.

When it comes to blitz - rated games (I am excluding draws):

When facing 700-800 rated opponents you have 3386 wins and 3159 losses. 51.73%

When facing 800-900 rated opponents you have 3307 wins and 3682 losses. 47.32%

When facing 900-1000 rated opponents you have 1744 wins and 2311 losses. 43.01%

When facing 1000-1100 rated opponents you have 320 wins and 643 losses. 33.23%

When facing 1100-1200 rated opponents you have 14 wins and 56 losses. 20%

As you can see, the higher the rating goes, your performance is worse, which is normal.

What probably happened is that you lost some games against lower rated people recently and that affected how you perceive things.
