What time is it?

Oh, seriously I think it would be convenient to have an officiell www.chess.com clock at the home page. I suppose it can get very confusing if you, in advance, would like to arrange a live game with someone in a different time zone.

Well, if it helps you, the "official" chess.com clock is in GMT -8 timezone, aka, Pacific Time Zone.

As Chess.com has members from all around the world, it can get confusing...Laughing

Perhaps the official Chess.com time should be made more obvious to aid clarity?  I'm not sure if a clock on the homepage is the answer.  Maybe on the correspondence chess pages...

the chess time is MY time... mere coincidence being in the bay area though...

Actually I've found this quite inconvient, and I've given up on trying to work out when (in GMT) posts were posted.

Perhaps it would be good if the time on posts was correct for the country which the viewer is from as we have all already submitted information about our country of residence.
