Tournament issue

I joined two tournaments today, and I have a problem:  It seems to me that all tournament games must be played simultaneously.  This is a major problem because now I find myself playing almost 20 simultaneous games-WAAAY more than I have time for (I'm a college student, not a professional Chess.com member).  Can we please make it to where the tournaments can be played one or two games at a time (per person per tourney) instead of all games being played simultaneously?

On second thought, it seems to me that my clock doesn't start on my first move of a tournament game until I make my first move-that is, I don't have a time limit on my first move in a tournament game.  Is this correct?

so... yes - you will play both games against your opponents, so you will be playing 10 games per 5-person group tournament. in the near future we will allow organizers to decide if they want both at once, or just 1 per opponent at a time (50% as fast).

to your second point - that isn't true - if you don't make a move within 3 days you will forfeit that game (like an abort - it won't hurt your rating, but it counts as a tournament loss).

i hope the tournament HELP file answers your questions!?

Thanks for the input.  I'd like to have the option of playing perhaps two or three games of a tournament at a time.  Otherwise, it's kind of mandatory to play no other turn-based games for the duration of a tournament and to have enough time on your hands to play all those simultaneous games.

I do like the new tournament feature, however, and intend to use it as time permits.
