Considering how much I'm involved and active with the chess.com community already; I'd be happy to help chess.com by being a mod if they judge me a good fit for the position and if I deem the position a good fit for me

I'll check out the application

Haven't you applied yet? If you have, then I'd want to ask the op why you're not a mod yet. It's been a while

I have applied and yes it has been a little while, but that is because chess.com moderators must first pass through a multi-stage interview process and other training before they are given the moderator title. I've been in contact with them all this time, but of course details regarding the process, or my personal situation I shall keep private for chess.com security as well as my own privacy.

Everything is "on pace" for what I expected so far though. These things can sometimes take time and I have the patience to take it step by step (as I knew I'd need before I applied). happy.png

@KeSetoKaiba, it surprises me that they've dragged on the process for so long and still haven't got you on the moderator team. If they conduct any extensive background checks as they claim, it should be clear by now that there couldn't be a better candidate for the position. I guess they take just as long to select a mod as they take to fix bugs around here. wink

The forums have become swamped with spam and alts, the least we need is a good mod or two.

Seriously get this person on the squad, @Richard, before he loses interest! grin

Despite being turned away once, I'm waiting to send my next mod application and I'm not giving up, whatsoever!

No es justo que me den por perdida una partida por abandono cuando me quedé sin conexión en mi mòbil durante 3 minutos en una partida de ,60 min.

May I become a mod? I am a fully capable moderator; just take a look at my past experience.

Several members in this thread have showed an interest in my working with chess.com, so just for clarity: I have been given permission to post about it, so here is what I've written on my own:
