Suggestion for stats page

One of the stats on the stats page breaks down our wins and losses by color. So right now I can see my winning percentage is a bit higher with black than with white. This is interesting, but there are two possible explanations

1) I don't get as much out of the white pieces as I should! (this is the useful way to interpret the stats)

2) I play weaker competition with the black pieces.

It would be nice to know our opponent's average rating with we have the white and black pieces so that I can confirm or eliminate possibility #2.

excellent suggestion :)

This is probably a ways off, but having the option to break down these stats by opening would also be an outstanding tool to help understand which openings one might need to spend more time on.

Wouldn't this give premium members a disproportionate advantage on the board over free members? I'm not saying those who chose to support the site shouldn't be awarded their perks (such as the stats page), but I wouldn't like someone checking my openings before a game to exploit one I either use less often, or had less success with.

The games you play are open to scrutiny by anyone anyway.

I often check out my opponent's previous games to see what he likes to do. Since anyone can do this, it's certainly fair. I think the stat page suggestions are excellent!

I'd thought of it as more of a self development tool rather than one you can use to school yourself on an opponent's strengths and weaknesses -- perhaps privacy settings to allow users to choose which of their stats are displayed on their public status page (vs. the view they themselves see) would help to alleviate this concern.
