SCIENTOLOGY and chess

 There are many reasons to feel intimidated by religion.  People's feelings on this topic are much stronger, and their reasoning much weaker, than on any other topic.  If I were to post my views on the dangers of other religions, many people would be outraged at my thoughts on the subject.  It is for similar reasons that these forums have a rule forbidding such discussions.  The staff wants to keep a relatively peaceful community.  I don't blame them.  If it's not okay to bash atheism, agnosticism, Catholicism, Buddhism, or any other widely held opinion or belief, why should we allow the public chastising of a religious minority?  Just because there aren't droves of followers expressing alienation, we should still respect the rules that were wisely implemented.
