What Is The Opening Roulette?

  • A weekly rapid arena happening every Monday at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 19:00 CEST.

Opening Roulette Format (October 2024)

  • 2 hours duration, 10+0 rapid arena held in the Chess.com Community Club
  • All games are unrated
  • You must have played a minimum of five games on Chess.com to participate
  • All games will begin with the Scotch Game!

Prizes

  • Weekly prizes and monthly prizes for top finishers will be distributed
  • A special prize category exists for players rated under 1500 rapid
