I would go Diamond if I weren't a student. WHy I did it:

1. you'd have to wait a LONG time for a good opponent, to get to that really cool thought-proving time somewhere around move 15, where things are interesting, the tactics trainer is well worth $2.5 a month. KEEP IT UP ERIC!

2. $2.5 a month, thats less than a gallon of gas.

3. this is a ferreal great clean site, its like the facebook of chess, we just need personal pages with music and we might have something bigger than myspace.

4. this is the fastest way to learn, if i could do this many problems for class at this rapid pace I'd phD in 2 years.

Great commercial, now we all need to pitch in some money for time during the superbowl to air it. I can see it now, the site would crash in a second.

New member here as well. This is a great site only wish I could have found it sooner. Now if the majority of users on the site would pitch in only 30.00 bucks a year then this site would rule the world. Help your fellow chess enthusiast.
