Dont kill me for this, I drawed with it, by using the Chess.com hints........

I don't think it's too difficult to draw against the maximum computer, especially when it is playing Black.

@BraydenTAY try beating it WITHOUT hints

It's not possible to beat the bot, at most you can draw, unless of course you're using stuff like timer, otherwise you can't it plays only the best moves and doesn't blunder in anyway.

this is maximum and is not stockfish17 or Lc0. so there is some chance to beat him.

I know this bot can be beat but do play your best, it blunders now and then and many times doesn't realize it, believe it or not.

‘Not possible’ is far from true, it’s very strong, but nowhere near the levels of the leading engines. It doesn’t blunder but it makes inaccuracies / mistakes. Definitely beatable by very strong humans - I did a video series for chess.com a few years ago and one of the videos was Hikaru beating it, the machine made quite a few relatively basic errors in the opening.

I beat mittens on my old account once, using scholar's mate. How it fell for it, I don't know.

I'll be more inclined NOT to believe that.

Literally impossible for a human to do, and I'm not even saying literally in the "it's a bit hard" way that people usually say literally - I mean that you will never EVER beat a 3000+ rated bot without either using one of your own or because it is defective in some way.

It would be like a weight lifter claiming they managed to lift a heavier weight then a forklift can or a runner saying they outran a sports car - anybody who said they did that is an obvious liar, and so is anybody who says they beat a chess engine on skill alone

Agreed.

If you just play a game of chess, you will never beat it, It's too strong. There's a reason its rated 400 rating points higher over the highest rated human player ever.

My friend beat it by basically copying its moves

I'm relative Sure, i can do this! :tilt

Anyone can do it given enough time, my 2 friends who were rated around 600-1000 were able to finish it in 2 days, you just need to think of every single move and possible moves that it makes and boom, you win
TheJaguarGambit

I mean you could beat it using the hint button or coach mode but other than that your gonna have to play like magnus

GM David Howell has held Alpha Zero to a draw twice, and alpha zero is stronger than stockfish (see Levy's videos lol)

So I think this could potentially be possible, also I'm pretty sure there are some positions engines don't understand, there's a course here on chess.com on it no?
