Curious if another player can make your connection look like you are disconnected on the site?

I can have 100% full internet connection, but all of a sudden I show as not connected, but I'm really still online and  connected!!!  I think their is some hinky, highly suspicious behaviors by some people, that I won't mention by name. How can I show as disconnected on a live game, but still currently watch the countdown, but  I can't unfreeze my game that I'm winning? Let's just say that some other players have access to the website for some reason?? and they abuse their website powers, and deliberately stall your live games by preventing you from being able to make a move...ALL while your time is running out!! Isn't it high time chess.com look into this problem? 

Every player maintains their connection directly with the server, which acts as a broker between the players for moves and or chat.

There is no direct connection between players.

Therefore, players cannot interfere with each other.

That doesn't specifically answer my concerns. Some alien of the 4th kind is stopping you from making a move?? but not keeping you from watching the time clock run out when you can't move any of your pueces??? So I guess that answer means the powers that be, or someone with access to the site can't interfere with someone's ability to move their pieces? Come on now, even I know a player can be stopped from writing or playing all together- so its not a big leap to realize you can be stopped during a live game. Something is happening, and its not my internet connection malfunctioning.

I kind of agree. This has happened to me multiple times over the past year or two. I've always thought it just my paranoia or conspiracy theorist peaking out. Lol. Sometimes, I can overcome it by closing the app and reconnecting quickly. It will, sometimes, reconnect me back to my live game.

Happened to me also. About a week ago was the last occurrence. The third time I have experienced it from memory.

So do I. Not much option really unless that walk around the house somehow works.
