Chess.com livechess

I've recently been playing a lot in the 'live chess' room on chess.com.  There is an option to play against a computer, which i do choose to do sometimes if no one is available for a game.  Ever 5th game or so the computer after about 10 moves will just lock up and with like 4 and a half minutes left, completely let that run down to nothing and run out of time.  Its pretty annoying sitting there just watching the seconds go by and really not being able to do anything.  Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes, there are a lot of problems with live chess with games stalling, timers jumping and (most annoying) disconnections  !!!!  However, as a non paying member I really cannot complain.  I believe the team are working their socks off to iron out the bugs (it is still in development) and I am very happy to play it as it is.  Hopefully, when it is properly finished, it will be as good as the rest of this excellent site.  In the meantime , we must continue to play on it so that Erik et al can see game logs and work out why it isnt working right.  It is not an easy job to do and they need our help.

Thank you for your help!

The problem is the computer is using all its power trying to defend itself against the Housewrecker opening (pawn to e4) which I personally invented and no one has ever seen before.

OK, great. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't a problem with my computer or my internet connection.  Also it if was a problem I was hoping someone that might be able to do something about it would see the post(they cant fix what they dont know is wrong).  This is a wonderful site and I really enjoy playing here.  I understand that this is a beta version and many people are working long hours to continually make the site as a whole better.  I think they are doing a great job.
