On January 22, 2008 Chess.com has just reached +100,000 registered members! The site has launched less than 1 year ago and we have already reached this great milestone. Thanks to everyone who has made this site such a great success!  Smile

When you started the site, did you have any goals for membership?  Does this number exceed your expectations?  Just curious.

In any case, congratulations.  :)

VSJOSHI

On this occasion why you don't launch a "Chess.com championship" tournament ? Keep it open for all, whatever may be rating. To make it more simple divide the players in four groups as --

1) below 1000 ratings            2) 1001 to 1500 ratings

3) 1501 to 2000 ratings           4) 2001 & above

In each group matches will be conducted in round-robin pattern. Top six players of each group will be promoted to next group.

Guys take it seriously.
