I am presently a non fees paying member, I intend to get at least gold membership when I get my next PhD stipend in April, and as such I can only enter one non-chess.com tournament at a time. I have finished all my games in the one tournament I am in (and I have won it :) ) but I suspect the other players will take a lot longer to finish their games, other than the games I have been involved in only one other game is completed. As I have finshed is there anyway I can now join other tournaments? Or do I have to wait till April (the other games may well not have finsihed by then!) when I can pay for full mebership?
I must admit that this is pretty annoying. Can there be anything worse than 2 super slow players, plus maybe some complementing vacation periods to hinder the complete rest of the field from enjoying the next tournament ?
yep. it is annoying. that's why we are offering a new service where for $500 per person we will go to their home and force them to make their moves at knife-point while you watch on webcam. there is a simpler option for $29.95 a year, but it is MUCH less exciting ;)
