Anyone tried Chess Mentor yet?

I absolutely love Chess Mentor!  I've been trhough many of the demo lessons and each time I finish one I cringe thinking it will be the last one.  I really want to find a way to purchase the full package, but $150 is a lot to lay out, especially to an internet hosted package, that there are no guarantees will always be around.  Anyway, the demo has helped me immensly and I know at some put I will fork out the cash for the full package.

Thank you for this tool and this site!

Oh, it it Great! I scored av even 1X00 today (where X in the set {2,3,4,5,6,7,8}). It will be my Chess New Years Resolution to aim for rating of 1(X+1)00 for next year!

I purchased the product last week and love it.  It has an amazing amount of material and is arranged so that you can concentrate on whatever you want to.  I really like that the average rating of each lesson is given so that you get an idea of the level of difficulty.  Try some of the free lessons and enjoy!

I bought Chess mentor last month and have completed about 350 lessons. I am very satisfied.

I purchased a yearly subscription, and I think the product is very good.

I like the adaptive training mode, so that I don't have to browse through the whole pack, and I find most of the examples are very well chosen.

The training mode is a very good idea too : you have to think, and it's good ! However, the explanations are somewhat uneven : in some lessons there are really excellent, in some others a little less so (I've ran through a Silman lesson where he writes to check the Variation, but this variation is nowhere to be found ?!)

All in all a very well thought and very well packaged product, which is a very good training and learning tool !

Yes, these references to "variations" are from the legacy desktop software product. Please report any confusing lessons or feedback and we'll get them cleaned up. All of the new courses being built won't have any references to non-existent variations. :)
