Speaking of conspiracy theories and rumors, I heard Staff is divided over an achievement award for members who copy & paste.

I have to be in the running for that one!

MGleason

Yeah, but unfortunately, everyone in favour of it is using exactly the same argument.

Bad_Dobby_Fischer

so why did you stop using red?

MGleason

The red ink manufacturer went out of business, and I never heard for certain why.

Red dye #4 scare, association with communists, and lead based.

Bad_Dobby_Fischer

well then why can i use it?

You have the safe stuff.

Bad_Dobby_Fischer

btw if you half 0 that's like dividing it by 2, which is infinity. so you're super rich

lol

MGleason

The safe stuff goes black over time, as you can see from your comments.

Zero divided by two is still zero.  It's dividing by close to zero that gets close to infinity.  Dividing by exactly zero is undefined.

Bad_Dobby_Fischer

WHAT DEVILRY IS THIS??????????

did you do it?

MGleason

No, it's just the natural decay of the red ink.

but if close to 0 is close to infinity, then exactly 0 is infinity

i will check what you said in another thread

That's not how mathematics works.  You can divide by a number very, very close to zero, but not exactly zero.

I thought when you were a mod there were no limits.

Bad_Dobby_Fischer

my red ink in another thread did not change color

Its a rare phena...pheno...pheninum...phanoinon...occurance...

Its a combination of Red Shift Factor, and Light Decay.

That's not how the calculus works.
