I'm really sorry if this is an obvious one but I wonder if anyone could point me in the right direction?
I run a club in a secondary school in England. We're looking to approach a few schools internationally which we have connections with to see if we could do some school chess club "twinning". My intention is to get a group of schools from multiple countries participating in a little friendly online chess.com tournament. Due to it being schools I've been trying to think of ways to tick all the safeguarding boxes. My only thought it to create a private club which only approved members of each school join (with each school's point of contact being an admin and having access to add). I was wondering if it was then possible, within one club, to split the members into teams in some way. So if we have 5 schools wanting to "twin" with us we all join one club on chess.com but within that club we can split ourselves into separate teams and assign games etc, or is it possible to make mini-clubs within one big "umbrella" club? Or is it possible to create a private league and add only specific clubs into it? That way the students are all in one place and can chat and learn from each other, but each school has its own students in one place as well.
I hope that makes sense! Any suggestions would be really welcome.
