Hello, a club I am in is searching for someone to take the job of the club Puzzler. The Puzzler will post a forum with chess puzzles in it twice a week on Tuesday and Friday, and will be credited in the club description. If you’re interested, please DM me, or join the club and DM the owner. Thanks!

(Original post here)

Hello everyone,

I just wanted everyone to know that over the summer, there were days that just felt empty. I realized that I had to utilize my time instead of letting it waste away doing absolutely nothing. That's why I decided to invest my time into creating The Puzzle Patzers.

Throughout my time on chess.com, I discovered my one true love: Puzzles. A few days ago I was scouring chess.com clubs, looking for a community where fellow puzzle solvers ranging from beginner to advanced would post and share their very own puzzles in a safe and positive environment, all while having a place where they could fellowship. Unfortunately, the clubs I encountered with these ideas in mind were either dead or just didn't meet my expectations. So, on a Tuesday with nothing to do, I decided to make my own club. At first, it was a bit of a struggle. I had never tried to create an active club, and the ones that I did create in the past quickly died in a few days. That is why I was determined to prevent that sort of incident from occurring again.

At the time that I am currently typing this, my club is 1 day old. Yes, day old. But with the help from a couple of friends, we've recruited quite a team. And if you like to solve or compose your own chess tactics, this club is the club to be in. Even if you're just a person looking for a place full of fellowship and community, this club was specifically tailored for you as well. So give The Puzzle Patzer's a go, and prepare to have your mind blown by tricky tactics, unbelievable underpromotions, and spectacular sacrifices!

FAQs:

Why should I join The Puzzle Patzer's?

While I was creating the club I had a couple goals in mind. I wanted to create a safe & enjoyable environment, and I also wanted the club to be active. I believe that the more members that join our club, the better chance my two goals will be fulfilled. This club isn't just about tactics, it's about the members.

Do I have to be good at puzzles to join the club?

Absolutely not! In fact, this club is built for all skill levels as well as all ages. I highly recommend beginners posting their puzzles/games, so that we can analyze them together as a club, and help to improve one another.

Will there be tournaments/vote chess/daily matches?

As of now, my main priority is to expand the club. That way, when we have reached an optimal amount of members, we will have more variety in the player pool. Nobody likes tournaments with a turnout rate in the single digits. Once the club has obtained more members, then I will start organizing tournaments/matches.

Finally, what is your main goal?

The desire that led me to create this club is simple. I wanted a place to fellowship while also sharing and spreading the love of chess. I wanted to create a place dedicated to the type of chess I love.

If you have any other questions or concerns, feel free to comment below.

Ultimately, The Puzzle Patzers is my way of saying thank you to this amazing community. I couldn't have done it without the help and support of the countless incredible & awesome people that were there throughout my journey. The hours spent solving tactics and blundering away winning endgames against my friends were moments I cherished, and now I realized that I could finally establish a gift that would keep on giving. Not only would it be a place where intelligent individuals would post and share, it would raise up a new generation of tactic solvers. So if you are looking for a place to call home, come and join the family of great puzzle solvers, and together we will fellowship with friends, learn new lessons, and enjoy the game that we love most.

Thank you so much for taking your time to read this! I really appreciate it. happy.png

The Club Of Friendship

Hello from the members of The Club Of Friendship, a club we all hope you join. Why should you join? There are a number of reasons:

First off, we have many Live Tournaments, Votechess, and Daily Matches. Among the Live Tournaments, many of them are Bullet, an area of chess that doesn’t get enough attention. And with more than 280 members, the tournaments are filled. If you like Bullet and Daliy, this is the place for you.

Second, this club stands out more than the other clubs. The name itself shows the theme of this club, which you can’t easily find in other clubs. We have done a lot differently than other clubs, including establishing our own website. If it is different you want, this is the place for you.

But the main reason to join, the reason anybody will point to over all others, is the community. Ever since this club was established, it has managed to remain an active, friendly community. The name does suggest that this is the focus, and the community has managed to stay active all this time. But this is more than just a place to chat. This is a place where we form alliances, support each other, and dominate on the chessboard as a United Front. Unity is always seen as the greatest threat in war, and it is Unity that we have.

We also have a lot of fun in-club games, we also have a lot of vote chess and Daliy matches! We would love to see you join us!

So that is our reasons for joining. We hope that  you read through them and decide to join.

Hello, I coach a school club (50 kids/age 8-12) We were shutdown for Covid but are getting started again this year. I would like to move the lesson/education portion to a platform like Chess.com or ChessKids, freeing up the in-person tine for play. As anyone else had success running a school club on here or any other digital platform? Also, any other tips would be appreciated.

Here is my club for people who want to play 60 minute games but can't find opponents for 60 minute games because they are rated over 1500 and there aren't many people over 1500 who play 1 hour long games on this website. https://www.chess.com/club/60-minute-club
