Commentators' pronunciation

I am not of the language police, and language crimes by people who want to appear more educated than they are amuse me. But I can't understand how chess professionals, grandmasters, can fail to pronounce the limited vocabulary, the daily tools of their trade, correctly. This goes for nearly all, otherwise intelligent and articulate, top commentators, on the various platforms. I think Howell is somewhat of an exception. Chess sources its terminology from different languages, which is usually baffling for english speakers. From italian the ch in fianchetto and the plural of tempo present problems, as en prise from the french. Not too much of tongue twisters to get right. Unlike maybe Zwischenzug and Zugzwang from the german, not to mention Scheveningen, which only the Dutch manage. But it doesn't hurt to make an effort, as a self respecting commentator. It is not as if the terms number in the thousands. The same goes for the names of top players, again not such a long list, not like commenting the football Eurocup. Euwe, Alyokhin, Nepomnyashchiy. At least try to get the syllable stress right. Van Foreest, Petrov, Petrosyan.
