The Trojan Horse.
Moves and captures like a Knight.
If your opponent takes your Trojan Horse, you can move twice on the next move.

For example, if the black Knight on c3 was a Trojan Horse:
1. ... THb1#
Because Kxb1 puts the white King again in check because the black rook could respond with Rc1+, RxK
Archer: moves one square can attack pieces in every direction but for only 3 squares and moves every other turn, however when it captures it does not need to move
Centaur: An archer and a knight
Returning Hero: When a pawn reaches the last rank it can choose to come back to the 1st rank (for white pieces) and become the Hero this piece can move anywhere within 6 squares of it
Trebuchet: Moves every 3 turns (this includes aiming) only can 'see' straight forward and has a range of x squares when it fires any it only attacks the squares that is x squares away from it but when it hits any square around the impact square is also targetted(basically an atomic explosion) when it 'fires' it does not to be moved to the captured pieces
Catapult: Basically a trebuchet moves faster and has less range
King Kong (see earlier)diagram. Marked are all the squares it controls: black - king moves, violet - knight moves, red - giraffe, green - lion/camel, yellow - hawk. Thus, the piece controls literally all squares in the 3 square radius! Imagine, if that occurred on a standard 8×8 board, and it couldn't be captured immediately, that might be instant game over.
The Shooter: moves without capture in every possible way - like any orthodox or fairy piece, captures by shooting any number of squares orthogonally or diagonally remaining on the spot. Cannot capture by replacement. There may be more than 1 enemy piece on its lines of fire, however, it can only shoot one piece at a time. The player would have to announce the piece they're shooting.
The Old Fart: similar to the shooter, but it can only move like king without capturing, and it can only shoot at 1 square distance, meaning, it can only kill the pieces on the adjacent squares. Like the shooter, it cannot shoot more than 1 piece at a time.
In order to shoot, a player has to lift the piece and put it back (stomp!) on the same spot (if that's on a physical board).
The atomic shooter - moves like a regular shooter, shoots one square but in all directions at once, destroying everything on the adjacent squares including friendly pieces and both kings. If you happen to shoot your own king, you lose. If both kings get shot, then it's a draw. So it's best to be careful where to use it.
Note: the atomic shooter doesn't get killed when killing other pieces, like in the atomic chess.

And why should it? It's fun to come here and exchange ideas.
For a very large/infinite board only!
Multirider= knightrider+camelrider+alibaba/hawkrider+giraffe(zebra)rider
Killer queen = queen+multirider
The Phase moves like a rook or like a knight, but
if you have an even number of pieces, it moves and captures like a rook.
If you have an odd number of pieces, it moves and captures like a knight.
Devil. At the beginning of the game, in starting position it moves and captures like a rook. If he takes a piece, he will move and take like the piece he took. In other words, the devil takes the soul from the captured piece. When the devil moves like a pawn to 8th rank, it cannot promote, but because from this rank can no pawn moves, it captures like a rook from this line.
@Mc_Check58 "That combination already exists."
I'm sure it has. And, so has every single one of our "invented" piece in this thread.
The unfortunate reality is that the chess pieces we "invented" and "devised" already existed in different combinations and variations, "created" by chessheads who came before us, of whom we do not know about; and of whom do not know about us.
Already, we have a chess player who invented a very neat piece, the Super Captain. Guess what? Someone else had already "Invented" the piece and called it the Raven. And, some unknown human who came before him/her had already "invented" yet the exact same piece; one which combines the powers of the Nightrider and Rook; and probably called it something else.
Funny thing about our human "inventions" is, we're actually nothing special; someone else had "our" idea before us.
But, take heart: our recourse is just in the very fact that we don't know about those other individuals who thought up "our" ideas. We can celebrate our human innovations and creative thinking (and our superior ability to think logically above all other biological species) by rightfully claiming that it was our idea; even if someone else already thought the same. (You can call it great minds thinking alike. )
With that being said,Night-Rider_Chess8987, it's a very neat piece. Really powerful! In my opinion, though, perhaps it's too much so among the existing chess pieces on an 8x8 board.
