i think bishops can be really strong in 960, even more than regular chess. any time i have bishops either right in the corner or one spot in on either side of the board, they are potential attacks in one move whereas in regular chess it requires two moves (such as in the fianchetto).
i've began some really quick attacks before my opponent was prepared. very fun.
