Social Distancing Chess (SDC)

I've had an idea for a long time and have tried it over the board with my friends. It's essentially hyperatomic. When a piece is touching another enemy piece, all pieces around the last move piece "socially gather". When your piece goes to a social gathering, it is instantly removed from the game. Kings cannot touch as it would instantly be a draw, HOWEVER, you can commit suicide by having your king within a social gathering. When I was in an endgame and going to win, I decided to go for the draw of gathering up both kings instead. It's also annoying to move your pieces in cramped spaces (which is most of the time).

Hola, me parece interesante el nombre de reunión social, pero no he podido entender cómo es que se desarrolla el juego, podrías ser más específico o poner más ejemplos. Gracias, estoy interesado en explorar esta variante. Saludos

Yeah, I will show diagrams when I have time, but for now...

1.d4 d5 (both D pawns gather) 2.Qd7# (The king socially gathers as he is one square away from an enemy piece, thus losing the game)

Kings can't touch btw, but you can explode both kings at once. I have.

SDC is clearly the most dominant, superior version of chess imaginable! I play it all the time at my local chess club.
