I'm not a good chess player, but I'd say that this idea is really cool. I've also heard this type of chess in a manhwa called " A Returner's Magic Should Be Special". I think a type of variant like this could create a very strategic and longer chess game that is also fun. I think that this is a great idea that should be created internationally. Sorry that this response was late, but I've only come across this variant of chess until now and I think it's a great idea!
Feedback of project "North Sea Chess"
so one thing i found when playing is that the ai doesnt really prioritize keeping the higher point peices protected. it sees every peice as a pawn. and when i was moving a peice in a supplyu lane there is no option to pass on the second move. Also there are times when the ai bugs and all the peices have a spasm. i love the concept and hope you can improve it further.

I am trying to recreate a chess variant that I saw in a Korean light novel, and I would like to know the opinion on the design, of people more knowledgeable in chess than I am. And see if changes are necessary.

Estoy intentando recrear una variante de ajedrez que vi en una novela ligera koreana, y me gustaría saber la opinion sobre el diseño, de personas más entendidas que yo en el ajedrez. Y ver si son necesarios cambios.
