Pawns moving forward any amount if squares seems weird if you get an open file a pawn can queen then with unlimited moves.

@StumpyBlitzer That is part of the game, defend the 1st or 8th rank or don't allow pawns to have an open file...a closed pawn structure would be a basic strategy for that.
i know im just slightly late lol but i think this would be fun
would add the chaos to the controlled chess
i think it would be nice to see this for even a limited time

I would like to propose a new variant called Anarchy Chess inspired by the Reddit thread...the rules are simple, the board is set up the same way except pawns can move forward any number of squares at anytime in the game... giving an open file to a pawn is a potential queen...I consider the pawns are the people protesting against the Kingdom...let me know what you think/ any suggestions
