Como jugar contra magnus carlsen
Why doesn't Magnus Carlsen play on chess.com anymore?
there is a reason, but it's censored here...
Very True this site will not say anything and they know why.
Initially there was something about chess.com trying to prevent GMs to play elsewhere I think which Magnus disliked.
But now after the news of Play Magnus buying one of them I doubt he will ever play in chess.com again. He is after all the major shareholder together with his father in the chess.com's rival site.
Heard about that too and credit to Carlsen for going against the Gestapo policy if true. A shame, as I enjoyed the games he played here and miss his playing in the site.
What bad reputation would you specify.
There have been quite a few specific reasons given here. Those reasons add up and so chess.com has become known for them. Probably the most annoying, for anyone including grandmasters, is the chess.com policy of not allowing discussions about competitors. I cant think of any other business that does that. It's immature and unnecessary. Who needs that?
He is part owner in C------ besides C------ pays him not to play here
Β
I think this is the reason. Playing in Chess.com he was only a player, but founding or buying another site and making it famous can give you great incomes... There is a bussines behind all this chess sites.
I dont know how much he gets paid. But I'll bet he doesn't want to be associated with this site. Money or no money. There are reasons (go back and read some of them) so many people dont play here anymore.
Because he doesn't get paid much to play here. He gets paid to play on chess24.Β
It's not up there with twitch thot levels of pay but it's something.Β
He owns Play Maggie (the company that produces the app) c****24 bought the company or went into partnership with it. C*****ble the company is owned or is in partnership with C*****24.
If you pay $100.00 a year for membership to C****24 you can play carlsen in blitz simul every week free members can't
What do you think about this? Magnus used to play tournaments on here a lot but now seems to like playing on other websites.
