My guess is that these guys including Carlsen want to be anonymous, so use fake accounts all the time. The problem is, whenever he plays, he skyrockets to the top immediately and get exposed, and then every cheater wants to play him.
Initially there was something about chess.com trying to prevent GMs to play elsewhere I think which Magnus disliked.
But now after the news of Play Magnus buying one of them I doubt he will ever play in chess.com again. He is after all the major shareholder together with his father in the chess.com's rival site.
Cuz he's afraid of facing IMBacon here.
+1, Will his games pass Bacon's cheat sheeth criteria?
He plays on elsewhere on a regular basis. I don't think he is paid for those performances. He had been playing on another site for a couple weeks now taking on paid members. I see this as sort of a PR blitz to repair his image following the punk out in the last game of the WC. I doubt he reserves his play time to only sites that he has a financial interest in.
He shall conquer the Puzzle Rush. Current record is 56 (by Spicycaterpillar). Magnus should go until 60 and the rest should struggle to overtake him

Probably not the stupidest thing said today, but definitely a competitor! Magnus's company has entered into a merger with another site, so naturally he is appearing there

Maybe spicycaterpillar is Magnus?

You do not think his image suffered then you must be one of his fanboys. It's a terrible platform to play on. No amount of Carlsen games will change that
It's not exactly the end of the world even if he stops playing in here personally for me he is way out of my league and I have just about 0 interest to play him since he just gonna wipe the floor with me so not much of a challenge for him as well. Unless he likes beating average Joe like myself, but I really doubt it so in the end of the day it's makes no difference for him where he plays online he is one of the most famous and skilled chess player alive right now.
What do you think about this? Magnus used to play tournaments on here a lot but now seems to like playing on other websites.
