It's just hype. It's nothing out of the ordinary, but it's a good result and not everyone gets to 1800 in 10 months. The hype that people give fuels his focus. If he goes on and on. Literally, non-stop (50 years straight, 10 hours a day) can go much higher

Yeah! But I kinda disagree with the last part, cause he only plays, and does puzzles. He would have to study more. Then I could see him reach like 2500+ some day (maybe in a few years if he continues like this but maybe it will take a decade idk)

prodigy has nothing to do with being young. Your confusing phenom with Prodigy. Prodigy is simple someone who improves very quickly. Phenom is Prodigy but they are very young. An example of a phenom would be the top 20 juniors in the world right now. A very good example is Alireza a couple years back like 2017-2019.

I learned the rules but do you think as a 4 y.o I will start playing chess professionally, I was at a chess club when I was 5 but went again cause the people there were a bit weird. then 7 years later I started getting into chess seriously

Yes, I read it. Still, 9 years of practice (even if it is sporadic) is a giant difference compared to starting from scratch.
Getting from beginner to 1800 in 10 months is an incredible feat, even real child prodigies are slower.
bro I started from scratch. I would've gotten to 400 probably within a week. ok add 1 week on top. so I started on 27.12.22 ok. big difference.

Why do so many people think that tyler1 is a prodigy even tho he’s already and adult and only got 1800 in 10 months which is literally garbage for spending like 10 hours a day on it and nowhere near prodigy level?
